7.2.4.1 Special Instructions for Telescope Equipment

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)

The unblinded research coordinator must ensure that the appropriate telescopes (120 degree and 4 mm zero degree scopes) and other equipment are provided to their surgical satellite sites as needed, for surgical photographs.

Louisville Kosair Children’s Hospital (LVL)

Storz has agreed to provide a loaner 120 degree scope as needed, for surgical photographs. The unblinded research coordinator must arrange for delivery of the scope at least one week in advance of the scheduled surgery, if not sooner.
