I have ECG records in the format .gdf. I need to convert them into .edf format to open it in the program (Neurosoft analysis of HRV)
Yes, I saw the answer in the previous post. But this program for the analysis of HRV did not suit me, because in Russia they use a special program for the analysis of HRV (Neurosoft HRV polyspectr), as in that program there is a calculation of additional indicators used in Russia (Bayevsky index), as well as additional features in the form of calculation of functional samples. But this program (Neurosoft polispektr HRV) uses the EDF format. My ECG records in Gdf format (i used a compact ECG device healforce (PC 180b) and a special utility to convert to gdf (other utilities to work with this device is not found). So I am looking for a way to convert GDF ECG record to any format (edf ,BDF, ECG, xml, etc)
Hi sasha74, I talked briefly with some colleagues here, and from my understanding, the BIOSIG extension for EEGLAB supports reading in the GDF format. From there, the program should be able to then write out to the EDF format. I'm sorry I can't provide more details than that, as I haven't done it myself, but hopefully that gives you a starting point. Let us know if this process ends up working for you as it may also help others in the future.
