thanks a lot for the explaination!
Does HearBEAT dataset have sleep stage annotations? I know it does not have EEG so it cannot have AASM sleep stage. But does it have binary Sleep/Awake annotated from the PSG signal such as actigraph?
Good evening, I am checking the HeartBeat. It has two visits, baseline and followup. There is about 3 weeks between them. And both visits has edf files from sleep study, and variables from blood sample.
Are the edf files from home sleep monitoring (type II) or in sleep lab (type I)? Are the sleep study and blood sample collecting happened on the same day?
Thanks!
Hi,
Is there light out/on time (or epoch) in CFS dataset? I could not find it in the variables. The XML annotation files seem also do not contain such information.
Many thanks!
Thanks a lot for the quick reply. It is super helpful!
This is somewhat related to this post.
I am checking the MrOS dataset and feel XML annotations might missing significant amout of apnea/hypopnea events.
Here is an example in visit2, in the file "mros-visit2-aa0181-nsrr.xml", there is, in total, 104 events,
{'Obstructive apnea|Obstructive Apnea': 86, 'Hypopnea|Hypopnea': 17, 'Central apnea|Central Apnea': 1}
while the CSV "mros-visit2-dataset-0.6.0.csv", says AHI is 71 (from "poahi3"). The total sleep time is 6 hours as potmrem = '75', potmst1 ='21', potmst2 = '264', potmst34 = '0'.
Thus there should be 71 * 6 = 426 events.
Am I missing something? I can understand XML might have more events than the CSV varialbe as it may need to be filtered. But I cannot figure it out why sometimes the XML file have less events.
Thanks for your help, Hao.
Thanks a lot for the help.
Hi there,
I notice WSC dataset has an interesting variable sedative_med indicating whether the subject is taking sedatives. I am curious about is it possible to know which (type of) sedatives the subject was taking?
sedative_med
Thanks
Thanks a lot for the explaination. It is very helpful. Could you please give me a link about where I can find these information? I was checking the manual https://sleepdata.org/datasets/chat/files/documentation?f=CHAT_Manual_of_Procedures.pdf, about cannot find it.
Thanks, Hao
I notice some datasets contain lab test results such as C-Reactive protein in CHAT, BestAIR and CFS. Further, CFS dataset have two measurements before and after sleep. I am wondering how about the CHAT and BestAIR? Are they doing those lab tests before or after the sleep?
