Thanks a lot for the explanation. It is very helpful.
Hi there,
I have a question about the stucture of the polysomnography of the BestAIR dataset. It should have 3 visits. while the subfolder names are "baseline", "followup" and "nonrandomized". Are these three folders corresponds to different visits? If not, how to get PSG data for each visit?
Thanks, Hao
Dear Sleepdata community,
I am using the Laboratory Tests variables in the CFS dataset in my research. I am very curious about whether there is a detailed explanation of the variables provided in the dataset. I cannot understand the meaning of some variables by just looking at their one-line labels.
For example, for "cbal" (https://sleepdata.org/datasets/cfs/variables/cbal), what does this "Core biochemical assay lab ID number" mean? Similarly, as for "vtdna", what does "Vermont DNA" mean? Also, how were those variables got? Did all of them come from a single blood test?
Thanks,
Hao He
Thanks for the prompt answer. It is very helpful!
Dear sleepdata community,
I find it a bit weird that a significant amount (47 subjects) of 'Log value: C-reactive protein levels values' are equal to -2.590267. (https://sleepdata.org/datasets/cfs/variables/lncrppm) Are they valid CRP readings or errors? Should I exclude those subjects from my research?
Thanks for the prompt response. I will check out the fasting glucose levels.
I am recently checking the variables in the CFS dataset. I find it weird that a significant amount of 'fasting glucose levels' values are negative. (https://sleepdata.org/datasets/cfs/variables/glucose_fast_orig) Am I misinterpreting the meaning of this variable?
Thanks, Hao He
Thank you a lot for the explanation and the reference.

Dear NSRR developers,
Your efforts in maintaining the datasets are so valuable for the sleep study field. Thanks a lot for all the work you've accomplished.
I want to ask a question about the sleep stage annotations in the numom2b dataset. It seems they have only 2 classes: N2 and Awake. I am confused about it. Am I checking the wrong file or the annotations do only have two classes? How were the sleep stages annotated? Are the annotations based on EEG signals or other signals?
Best regards, Hao
