I'm trying to measure EEG (dry electrode / bi-polar / single channel) on frontal pole region (Fp1, Fp2, Fpz as right lag).
After I get power spectrum, the power spectrum shows dominating frequency of ~4Hz (delta wave range) even for awake state.
Even ear lobe as right lag, get the same result.
I think the power spectrum should show dominating frequency of ~11Hz (alpha wave range) for awake state, for normal adult.
Would the position of electrode be wrong ? or muscle artifacts ?
OR is there any reference for frontal pole EEG acquisition ?
Can you guys please help me out ?
Hi Kisoong,
Need a little more information. Would you mind sending me a figure, some details on how you are computing and which subject set you are looking at?
You can email me at ddean@research.bwh.harvard.edu.
Best,
Dennis
