19.5 Cleaning the Monitor

1. Remove everything from the bag.
2. Disconnect and discard all disposable sensors.
3. Wipe all cables and wires with Fantastik. You may use Goo Gone to remove the sticky film left by the tape. If you use Goo Gone, you will need to reqipe the cables again to remove the film that is left behind.
4. Check the condition of the wires and cables and replace where needed. Look for frayed wires, non-working parts, etc.
5. Notify coordinator when replacement parts need to be ordered.
6. Check the ‘Clean/Prep’ column in the Monitor Control Log to indicate this task has been completed.
