3.2.1 Connecting the Communication Cable

1. Connect the provided communication cable to the Endo-PAT Communication port
2. Hand tighten the screws
3. Connect the communication cable to the PC via RS 232 port if available
4. Insert the installation CD and install the software.

• If USB to RS 232 adapter is required, follow the following installation procedure:

  • 1. Attach provided USB to RS 232 adapter to a USB outlet on PC
  • 2. A message will appear “Found new hardware…”
  • 3. You will be prompted to install the suitable driver
  • 4. Insert provided installation CD for driver
  • 5. The installation will automatically select the correct driver from the CD
